ACMIT is proud to be part of the SARAS project, with the main goal to develop the next-generation of surgical robotic systems.
The SOLO-SURGERY, as a second release of the SARAS system, is an autonomous robotic platform:
- taking over the role of the assistant surgeon,
- automatizing simple surgical tasks,
- cooperating with the main surgeon during the Robotic Minimally Surgery (R-MIS) benchmark procedures,
- thereby increasing the social and the economic efficiency of a hospitalisation with a guarantee of a high level of patient safety
