ACMIT’s long-term scientific partner and research area manager, Prof. Dr. Tamás Haidegger, Professor at the University Research and Innovation Center of Obuda University, Head of the Medical Robotics Research Group at the Antal Bejczy Center for Intelligent Robotics, and CEO of Initium Venture Labs Ltd., has received a Hungarian state decoration.
Prof. Haidegger was awarded the Hungarian Gold Cross of Merit in recognition of his outstanding scientific and educational contributions to robotics research in Hungary and internationally, particularly in the fields of medical robotics and innovation.
On the occasion of the March 15 national commemoration, the decorations recognizing high-quality professional work and exemplary achievements were presented at the Pesti Vigadó by Veronika Varga-Bajusz, State Secretary responsible for higher education, vocational and adult training, and youth affairs, and Anita Kiss-Hegyi, State Secretary responsible for cultural relations.
