The Linz-based startup Diamens is developing a non-invasive self-test for diagnosing endometriosis. Currently, a cost-effective diagnosis without surgery is not possible. Worldwide, one in ten women is affected. The group has identified promising biomarkers and is developing a home test for diagnosing endometriosis using menstrual blood.
The five-person founding team comes from medical science and practice: Marlene Rezk-Füreder (CEO), Eva Scharnagl (CTO), Angelika Lackner (CSO), Clara Ganhör (COO), and Prof. Peter Oppelt (CMO). The company invests heavily in medical research and is dedicated to developing an accessible and cost-effective diagnostic method for endometriosis.
ACMIT congratulates the Diamens team on this great achievement and wishes them continued success!
