ACMIT researcher, Renáta Levendovics successfully completed her Ph.D. on 11th of December, 2023 at the at Óbuda University in Budapest, Hungary.
The title of her Ph.D. thesis was: „Endoscopic image and kinematic data-based autonomous technical and non-technical skill assessment in Robot-Assisted Minimally Invasive Surgery“
The scientific work focused on three main research areas:
- Endoscopic image-based technical skill assessment and semantic segmentation in Robot-Assisted Minimally Invasive Surgery (RAMIS)
- Autonomous non-technical skill assessment in Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS)
- RAMIS skill assessment in surgical autonomy
