Ass.-Prof. Dr. Sepideh Hatamikia served as Chair and main organizer of the AICI Forum 2025 (Artificial Intelligence in Clinical Imaging). The forum brought together researchers, clinicians, imaging experts, and industry professionals to explore how AI can transform medical imaging.

This year’s event was sponsored by Siemens Healthineers and Philips Healthcare—two leading pioneers in medical imaging—and was CME-accredited by the Austrian Medical Chamber. In addition to organizing the forum, Dr. Hatamikia delivered a keynote presentation, sharing insights on cutting-edge AI applications in clinical imaging.

Several researchers led by Dr. Hatamikia presented their research through oral pitches/presentations including talks from three joint PhD researchers of Danube Private University (DPU) and ACMIT. In addition, her PhD researcher Poorya MohammadiNasab won the Young Investigator Award Second Place at this event.

  • MSc Mehran Ahmad (Pitch oral presentation): Early Diagnosis of Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma: A Deep Hybrid Histopathology Framework
