ACMIT sponsors the ISO/IEC Robotics Standardization Meetings in Budapest.
This event is hosted by the Antal Bejczy Center for Intelligent Robotics (IROB) at Óbuda University and organized by Dr. Tamás Haidegger (Research Area Manager at ACMIT).
The participants of the 10-day-long meeting are experts in robotics, and are working towards new international standards in the field of service robotics.
Particular target areas include collaborative, nursing, rehabilitation and surgery robotics. In the latter two fields, the experts are now finalizing the standardization documents.
Traditionally, the last day of the program (July, 28th 2017) is a medical robotics workshop, where renowned experts give keynote talks regarding the current achievements and upcoming research and development results in the domain. This year, Dr. Gernot Kronreif, chief scientific officer of ACMIT, has been invited.
The workshop is open to all interested in the topic!
