The iSMIT 2025 with the theme:” Re-Imagining the Future of Surgery” will take place from October 10 to 11, 2025, at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel & Conference Center in Washington, DC, USA.
The lead organizer of the event is Prof. Kevin Cleary, Ph.D. Prof. Cleary is a long-time Key Researcher, supporter and partner of ACMIT. He is the Engineering Director and Bioengineering Initiative of Sheikh Zayed Pediatric Surgical Innovation Institute in the Children’s National Hospital in Washington, DC. The Medical Robotics Laboratory led by Prof. Cleary focuses on the development of novel biomedical devices, mobile apps and minimally invasive surgical procedures in the field of robotics and pediatric surgery.
