The 14th edition of the Conference on New Technologies for Computer/Robot Assisted Surgery (CRAS 2025) will be hosted by the University of Lisbon, Portugal, from September 10–12, 2025.
Surgical robotics continues to transform medical practice by introducing tools that enhance safety, precision, ergonomics, and consistency in surgical procedures. Over the past thirty years, millions of patients have benefited from robot-assisted surgeries.
This year’s conference welcomes contributions in several cutting-edge areas, including:
- Virtual and augmented reality for surgical training, planning, and intraoperative guidance
- Innovative approaches to delivering effective haptic feedback
- New devices, technologies, and techniques for minimally invasive and complex surgical tasks
- Applications of artificial intelligence in surgical planning, guidance and autonomous operations
ACMIT is proud to be a sponsor of CRAS 2025, supporting the advancement of cutting-edge technologies in computer- and robot-assisted surgery.
Dr. Gernot Kronreif, Chief Scientific Officer at ACMIT, is a member of the CRAS organisational board.
