Prim. Univ.-Prof. Dr. Joachim Kettenbach, EBIR, MBA, the head of the Central X-ray Institute for Diagnostics, Interventional Radiology and Nuclear Medicine at the Wiener Neustadt State Hospital was awarded honorary membership of the internationally renowned IROS Prize for his outstanding achievements and expertise in the field of radiology.
As a pioneer in the interventional oncology, for MR-targeted and minimally invasive robot-assisted percutaneous interventions and for his dedicated work as an assessor expert within the framework of the Austrian Society for Interventional Radiology (ÖGIR) and for the European Board of Interventional Radiology (EBIR), Prof. Kettenbach was awarded honorary membership of the ÖGIR in January 2023.
