Dr. Sepideh Hatamikia received the Best Paper Award 2022 of the Journal of Medical Physics

The publication entitled ‘3D printed patient-specific thorax phantom with realistic heterogenous bone radiopacity using filament printer technology’ by Ass.-Prof. Dr. Sepideh Hatamikia (Head of Computational Imaging, in the research group Area Medical Image Analysis & Artificial Intelligence (MIAAI) at the Danube Private University and ACMIT researcher) and her team (ACMIT employees and long-time scientific partners of ACMIT) won the Best Paper Award 2022 of the Journal of Medical Physics from the German Society for Medical Physics.

The prize was given to Dr. Hatamikia at an award ceremony hold by the German Society for Medical Physics in the DGMP conference on September 29, 2023 in Magdeburg, Germany by Univ.-Prof. Dr. Jürgen R. Reichenbach (Head of the Medical Physics Group, Institute for Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology, Jena University Hospital) and Prof. Dr. Martin Fiebich (President of the German Society for Medical Physics (DGMP), Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen, Institute for Medical Physics and Radiation Protection, Gießen).
