The “MedtecSUMMIT in Focus” organized by Bayern Innovativ (led by Dr. Jörg Traub) and the German Aerospace Center (led by Dr. Julian Klodman) under the title “Clinical Robotics” took place on 19th March 2024 in Weßling, Germany.
In four panel discussions, the status quo and future prospects were discussed in detail from the perspective of clinical users, science and research, and industry. The excellent panel for science and research was moderated by the scientific director of ACMIT, Dr. Gernot Kronreif.
The panel discussion addressed the questions of how future developments can be better aligned with the requirements of clinical users and the actual clinical added value or how communication between the various stakeholders can be better implemented in all phases of development.
