Ass.-Prof. Dr. Sepideh Hatamikia has been invited as both panelist and speaker to the DSC DACH (Applied AI & Data in Industry) Conference 2025.
The DSC DACH 2025 took place from October 14–16, 2025, in Vienna, Austria. It is recognized as one of the leading grassroots events in the DACH region, focusing on Applied Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Data Science in Industry. This year’s edition brought together over 500 professionals, including industry leaders, researchers, and decision-makers, to explore how AI and data-driven technologies are transforming sectors such as energy, mobility, healthcare, and manufacturing.
In a very interesting panel discussion titled “From Model to Meaning: Turning AI Solutions into Real-World Impact”, organized by Women in AI Austria Association and moderated by MSc Fatemeh-Shirin Asgari, three AI experts explored how AI can be used outside the lab to make a real difference. Dr. Sepideh Hatamikia contributed as the AI expert in healthcare and highlighted the transformative potential of AI in medicine.
She also gave a talk on “From Data to Decisions: Building Responsible AI for the Future of Medical Imaging”, where she shared insights on how we can build trustworthy, impactful AI solutions based on medical imaging data that support clinicians and improve patient outcomes.
