ACMIT<\/strong> is pleased to announce its active participation in the Hamlyn Symposium on Medical Robotics (HSMR) 2026<\/a><\/strong>, taking place from 23\u201326 June 2026 at the Royal Geographical Society in London, UK,<\/strong> one of the leading international forums for researchers, clinicians, and industry experts in the field of medical robotics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Representing ACMIT <\/strong>this year is Prof. h.c.<\/strong> Dr. Gernot Kronreif (CSO of ACMIT)<\/strong>, who contributes to the symposium through multiple roles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As in previous years, Dr. Kronreif serves as a member of the Programme Committee<\/a><\/strong>. He will also take on a leading role in the conference programme as Session Co-Chair for \u201cSession 8: Cardiovascular & Endovascular Interventions.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beyond the main conference sessions, he has been invited as a speaker in the workshop \u201cSmart by Structure: Designing Surgical Devices for Equity and Sustainability,\u201d<\/a><\/strong> where he will contribute his expertise to discussions on forward-looking surgical device design. ACMIT<\/strong> is furthermore proud to support these workshops as an official sponsor<\/strong>, underlining its commitment to advancing innovation and sustainability in medical technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, the recently completed EU project ROBIOPSY<\/a><\/strong> will be presented during the poster session on Day 1 of the main conference on 24 June 2026, providing insights into the project\u2019s outcomes and innovations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ACMIT is delighted to contribute to HSMR 2026 and looks forward to engaging with the international medical robotics community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
