The prototype aims to improve workflow consistency, reduce operator dependency and address key limitations related to ergonomics, manual workload and automation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Within the project, <strong>ACMIT<\/strong> was responsible for developing the robotic core component, specifically designed for the manipulation of the transrectal ultrasound probe and the precise targeting and positioning of the biopsy or therapy needle.
