MAPWORMS<\/a><\/strong> is pleased to announce that its research has been featured in TGR Leonardo<\/strong>, the science and technology segment of the Italian national broadcaster RAI<\/strong>, aired on April 29, 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The televised report highlights MAPWORMS\u2019 innovative work on a worm-inspired soft robotic system, designed for future biomedical and minimally invasive applications. Drawing inspiration from biological systems, the technology focuses on the development of soft, compliant, and wirelessly actuated structures capable of controlled shape morphing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Within the framework of the project, ACMIT<\/strong> plays a key role in translating the research findings into practical medical applications, following a bio-inspired design process that bridges fundamental research and clinical innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
