On Friday, 24 April 2026<\/strong>, Austria will once again open its doors to science enthusiasts of all ages during the nationwide Long Night of Research (LNF)<\/a><\/strong>. As the country\u2019s largest event dedicated to science LNF offers visitors free access to research institutions, universities, and companies across all nine federal states.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Running from 5 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.<\/strong>, the event invites guests to explore thousands of program points, including hands\u2011on experiments, guided tours, workshops, live presentations, and interactive demonstrations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ACMIT <\/strong>is pleased to announce its participation in this year\u2019s event. ACMIT will host one dedicated station at a separate exhibition location in the TFZ<\/strong> \u2013 (Technologie- und Forschungszentrum) in Wiener Neustadt (Building A 1. Stage)<\/strong>, featuring the innovative RALV System (Real Artificial Lens Vision \u00a9 DEZIMAL GmbH)<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Station Theme: \u201cCan you test your future vision with an intraocular lens before surgery?\u201d<\/em><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

At this stand, visitors will discover how advanced ophthalmic simulation technology enables patients to preview the outcome of lens-implant procedures \u2014 improving decision\u2011making, enhancing patient counselling, and increasing confidence before surgery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The station will be open from 5 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The RALV<\/strong> station invites all visitors to explore how medical research can be transformed into practical solutions that directly support both patients and clinicians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By participating, ACMIT supports the national effort to increase public awareness of cutting\u2011edge research and to inspire future generations of scientists, engineers, and innovators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
