{"id":8969,"date":"2026-01-16T11:17:24","date_gmt":"2026-01-16T10:17:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/acmit.at\/?p=8969"},"modified":"2026-01-16T11:17:25","modified_gmt":"2026-01-16T10:17:25","slug":"geyedance-final-report-successfully-completed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/acmit.at\/de\/geyedance-final-report-successfully-completed\/","title":{"rendered":"GEYEDANCE final report successfully completed"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In our role as project coordinator, <strong>ACMIT<\/strong> is proud to announce the successful completion of the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/geyedance.eu\/project\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">GEYEDANCE project<\/a> <\/strong>(Project No.\u202f101070443), titled <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/geyedance.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u201cAI Guidance for Robot-Assisted Eye Surgery\u201d<\/a><\/strong>, funded by the European Union\u2019s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme. Project duration was 36 months, from September 2022 until August 2025 \u2013 the final project review with external experts took place in October 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project successfully achieved all its objectives through strong collaboration across the consortium. The developed AI\u2011guided robotic platform for retinal surgery\u2014featuring ultra\u2011thin microsurgical instruments and precise intraocular control\u2014was validated through extensive pre\u2011clinical trials, confirming its safety and reliability. The development phase was perfectly supported by active clinical involvement and high\u2011quality scientific outputs.
