It provides a detailed overview of the project\u2019s progress, showcasing how interdisciplinary collaboration across Europe is driving innovation in clinical cancer care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Clinical milestone: CARDINE study approved<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A key highlight is the successful ethical approval of the CARDINE clinical study in Italy, Spain, and Belgium. This milestone enables the evaluation of three AI algorithms\u2014CADe, CADx, and CASe\u2014on retrospective videoendoscopy data, setting the stage for clinical validation and real-world application. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/aircareproject.eu\/cardine-ethical-approval\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CARDINE ethical approval<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Laying the groundwork for innovation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Led by <strong>ACMIT<\/strong>, the consortium has finalised the product and component requirements for AIRCARE\u2019s diagnostic and therapeutic systems, shaped through extensive consultation with clinicians and stakeholders to ensure both clinical relevance and user-centred design.&nbsp; Regulatory management processes have also been established, and detailed evaluation protocols are now in place to guide verification and validation in the next phases of the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Technical highlights<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the first 12 months of the AIRCARE project, substantial progress was made across the core technical work packages, laying the groundwork towards the clinical valuation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/aircareproject.eu\/publications\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Publication database<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Consortium activities and public engagement<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The newsletter also highlights AIRCARE\u2019s participation in international conferences, clinical workshops, and stakeholder meetings. The project has gained national media attention and continues to expand its outreach efforts to raise awareness of its mission and impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As AIRCARE enters its second year, the focus
