The 42nd<\/sup> Congress of the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ESCRS)<\/strong> will be held from September 6 to 10, 2024, at the Fira de Barcelona (Gran Via), in Spain<\/strong>. The event will provide opportunity to share the latest advances and innovations in the field of ophthalmology, to learn about the latest offerings in the industry and to network with experts from around the world. The program includes symposia, courses, wetlabs, video sessions, poster and oral presentations, as well as a variety of other special interest days and sessions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Lunch Symposium organised by Rayner entitled \u201cThe Galaxy Spiral IOL: World\u2019s First Clinical Data\u201d<\/strong> is scheduled for September 8, from 1:00 p.m. to 2 p.m<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At this symposium, the clinical study data obtained by ACMIT<\/strong> with the RALV device<\/strong> (DEZIMAL GmbH<\/a>)<\/strong> will play an important role. Prof. Claudette Abela-Formanek<\/strong> (Head of Specialty Clinic for Cataract Surgery, and Head of Day Clinic, Department of Ophthalmology and Optometry at the Medical University of Vienna) will present the study results and also go into detail about the optical system RALV<\/a><\/strong> and the tests carried out with the device.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
