The publication entitled \u20183D printed patient-specific thorax phantom with realistic heterogenous bone radiopacity using filament printer technology\u2019<\/strong> by Ass.-Prof. Dr. Sepideh Hatamikia<\/strong> (Head of Computational Imaging, in the research group Area Medical Image Analysis & Artificial Intelligence (MIAAI) at the Danube Private University and ACMIT researcher) and her team<\/strong> (ACMIT employees and long-time scientific partners of ACMIT) won the Best Paper Award 2022 of the Journal of Medical Physics<\/strong> from the German Society for Medical Physics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The prize was given to Dr. Hatamikia<\/strong> at an award ceremony hold by the German Society for Medical Physics in the DGMP conference<\/strong> on September 29, 2023 in Magdeburg, Germany<\/strong> by Univ.-Prof. Dr. J\u00fcrgen R. Reichenbach<\/strong> (Head of the Medical Physics Group, Institute for Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology, Jena University Hospital) and Prof. Dr. Martin Fiebich<\/strong> (President of the German Society for Medical Physics (DGMP), Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen, Institute for Medical Physics and Radiation Protection, Gie\u00dfen).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
