The, \u201cForschungsfest Nieder\u00f6sterreich 2023\u201d<\/strong> took place on September 22nd, from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. <\/strong>in the Palais Nieder\u00f6sterreich, Vienna<\/strong>. Research stations showed current projects and interesting facts from science and research in Lower Austria. The event was a complete success, the interest, and the mood of the visitors was great.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year ACMIT<\/strong> was represented by Dipl.-Ing. Christoph Kment<\/strong> and Markus Reiterer MSc. <\/strong>at the booth station: \u201eMaking diseases visible: Fluorescence supported tissue differentiation\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

ACMIT<\/strong> exhibited demonstration boxes for fluorescence-assisted tissue differentiation. The visitors could experience use cases on samples in normal white light, under UV and infrared lighting. The detection of caries or identification of cancer cells in surgery are possible with UV or infrared imaging. ACMIT<\/strong> is working on new application methods to integrate these technologies into surgical instruments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
