ACMIT<\/strong> researcher, Laszlo Jaksa<\/strong> successfully completed his Ph.D. on 6th<\/sup> of June, 2023<\/strong> at the Vienna University of Technology<\/strong>, in Vienna.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The title of his Ph.D. thesis was: \u201cDevelopment of an Additive Manufacturing System for Producing Tissue-Mimicking Materials\u201c<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the medical field, anatomical models are becoming increasingly important. They are used in the development of medical devices as well as to provide an advanced solution for education of clinicians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Laszlo focused in his scientific work on 3D printing development and testing, production of improved realistic anatomical models. The use of silicone printing and multi-material structuring techniques in the field of 3D-printed anatomic models was established, offering new opportunities for customization and increased realism in medical education, device development and preoperative planning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
