{"id":7267,"date":"2023-03-26T19:20:39","date_gmt":"2023-03-26T17:20:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/acmit.at\/?p=7267"},"modified":"2023-03-26T19:20:40","modified_gmt":"2023-03-26T17:20:40","slug":"acmit-and-its-scientific-partners-published-a-new-paper-in-the-journal-of-medical-physics-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/acmit.at\/de\/acmit-and-its-scientific-partners-published-a-new-paper-in-the-journal-of-medical-physics-2\/","title":{"rendered":"ACMIT and its scientific partners published a new paper in the Journal of Medical Physics"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The published project was an international collaboration between <strong>University of Sydney, Australia, Johns Hopkins University, USA, Austrian Center for Medical Innovation and Technology (ACMIT), Austria, Research Center for Medical Image Analysis and Artificial Intelligence (MIAAI), Austria, University of Pennsylvania, USA<\/strong> and <strong>RMIT University, Australia<\/strong> in the framework of the <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/image-x.sydney.edu.au\/interventional-imaging\/\" target=\"_blank\">Image X Interventional Imaging Program<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The research was supported, by <strong>Siemens Healthineers<\/strong>, which provided the state-of-the-art robotic imaging C-arm machine for the project. Orthopedic interventions often involve long and wide anatomical sites (e.g., lower extremities). In this project, the feasibility of a novel imaging trajectory to simultaneously expand the CBCT field-of-view longitudinally and laterally was investigated. Such an imaging trajectory will ensure that the clinical benefits are available to all orthopedic procedures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For more information, please visit:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a
