Interesting topics from all areas of robotics will be presented and networking of industry and academic partners will be provided by the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>ACMIT<\/strong> will be represented by <strong>Wolfgang Ptacek<\/strong> with a lecture titled: <strong>\u201cPathopsy\u2122 Center \u2013 Todesursachenanalyse mit dem Virtobot\u201c.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Virtobot system was developed together with the Institute of Forensic Medicine at the University of Zurich. A ceiling-mounted robotic arm scans the corpse in 3D and takes tissue and fluid samples for analysis automatically, to determine the cause of death without a subsequent autopsy.
