{"id":6679,"date":"2021-10-22T11:03:58","date_gmt":"2021-10-22T09:03:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/acmit.at\/?p=6679"},"modified":"2021-10-22T11:03:59","modified_gmt":"2021-10-22T09:03:59","slug":"acmit-has-received-approval-for-a-new-comet-modul","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/acmit.at\/de\/acmit-has-received-approval-for-a-new-comet-modul\/","title":{"rendered":"ACMIT has received approval for a new COMET Modul"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The <strong>Federal Ministry of Climate Action<\/strong> and the <strong>Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs<\/strong> will invest <strong>twelve million euros<\/strong> in six new <strong>COMET<\/strong> modules for four years by following the recommendation of an international expert jury.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new funded <strong>COMET Module \u201cSurgical Data for Optimized Therapy\u201d (SD-OpT) by ACMIT<\/strong> is representing an important extension of ACMIT\u2019s research areas, such as sensor-integrated tools, medical IoT, or patient-specific planning tools, which provide an ideal base for <strong>\u201cSurgical Data Science\u201d (SDS)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>SD-OpT<\/strong> will investigate urgent research questions with high potential in a close cooperation with international high-profile partners from science and industry. Furthermore, <strong>SD-OpT<\/strong> will demonstrate the immense potential of SDS by realization of representative and meaningful evaluation cases.
